We want to welcome Matt Hammond to our team! He is our new chief flight instructor (ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI). We are excited about him joining Atlanta Air Academy Team and look forward to the impact he will make.
More about Matt:
I grew up in Peachtree City, GA and wanted to fly since a very young age. I began flying in 2011 when I started school at the University of Georgia. After graduating in 2015, I got serious about flight training and earned my ratings while working full time at Delta Air Lines. In 2017, I made a career change to instruct full time out of Peachtree City’s Falcon Field. This is when I realized my true passion of teaching others to fly. With over 1000 hours of dual given, I love to share my passion of flying with others both in the cockpit and in the classroom. In late 2018, I was hired at PSA Airlines to fly the CRJ out of Charlotte, NC. When I'm not flying, you can find me playing golf, fishing, or hiking/camping in the mountains.
